One accountable channel, one register linked to the National ID, and loans that revolve to the next graduate.
Graduates often fall between the cracks of programmes designed around households, residence, trades or age bands. The One Graduate Window is UG-SACCO's answer.
How it works
A ministry, agency or programme that wants to support graduates channels its funds through UG-SACCO under a formal agreement. The programme owner keeps policy control, sets eligibility and pricing, receives real-time data and can audit the window at any time.
The flow of funds
- Funds are released into a ring-fenced programme account.
- Members apply digitally; identity is verified through NIRA and graduate status through the member register.
- Loan officers appraise each enterprise and a credit committee decides.
- Funds are disbursed digitally, preferably straight to suppliers.
- Repayments return to the programme account and are re-lent to the next eligible graduate.
Not a gift
Programme funds are revolving loans. They must be repaid so that other graduates can benefit. UG-SACCO does not replace PDM, Emyooga or other programmes; it gives each of them a dedicated, measurable graduate window.
